Samsung Galaxy S5 has been announced by the Korean giant at MWC 2104. Galaxy S5 is a 5.1-inches phone with 1080p display running on Android KitKat 4.4.2 supported by new TouchWiz UI by Samsung. Samsung Galaxy S5 just became more secure by using Fingerprint sensor on its home button which asks you to swipe your finger vertically over the home button, not the same we saw on iPhone 5S which need to be pressed at bit. This new Galaxy S5 has also got a camera update, the camera is now 16MP which is capable of recording UHD 4K videos, the same we saw on Sony Xperia Z2. Samsung has also added a Ultra Power Saving mode through which you can make your battery gets consumed in an efficient manner.
Samsung Galaxy S5 is the first galaxy ad-up phone which is IP67 water and dust proof, so you can take your downside photos while swimming. This device, following the Gear trend, is IR supported which fully converts your mobile into a new television remote without any headache of AA types battery. Galaxy S5 will also keep you fit in your daily life by monitoring your heart beats using its new in-built heart rate sensor. The design of this mobile is almost similar to Galaxy S4 which is 1-inch shorter. The new S5 is a bit more curvy than the previous Galaxy S4, a bit similar to Galaxy S. While Sony is making some thinner devices, Samsung Galaxy S5 is somewhat thicker and heavier than Galaxy S4. Samsung has boosted this Galaxy smartphone with new 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor but the RAM thing is still 2GB for now, Xperia Z2 already got one extra gigabyte this time.
Following the iPhone 5S Gold trend, Korean giant made Samsung Galaxy S5 available in 4 colours i.e. Gold, White, Blue and Black. The device will enter the market starting April with no official price tag till now. Stay tuned for more!
