Next generation Redmi smartphone to feature 3GB RAM, 20MP camera and 5.5″ FHD display, all for $165
Xiaomi is already developing some next generation Redmi series smartphone that will feature 3GB RAM, 20.7MP camera(by Sony) on rear, 8MP camera on front and 5.5″ of Full HD 1080p display. According to MyDrivers, this new device would be a strong answer to the base version of Meizu MX4. The rumoured device might also come loaded with a powerful MediaTek’s MT6595 octa-core processor along with 3,500mAh battery under its hood. This next generation device will also get 4G LTE support by various chinese(and worldwide) carriers.
Report also says that the device will land up in metal type frame and will priced as follow:
- 999Yuan/165$ for 16GB
- 1299Yuan/215$ for 32GB
- 1499Yuan/245$ for 64GB
Both being the main source of smartphones in china, Meizu and Xiaomi are also indulge some dispute regarding the launch of Meizu MX4. We can say them Apple vs Samsung in China.
We are not sure whether it will be Redmi series device or Mi series device. Being that much powerful, one should expect it to fall under Mi series.
